The Cotswolds : The Falcon Inn

Recently taken over by the Unique Group, this 17th century inn is now in the process of refurbishment. That is not to say it is not open. Far from it. Licencees Brigitte and Martin have at last returned this excellent inn to its rightful place among the best in the area.

As improvements progress, we will be publishing additional pictures but don't wait for that. This delightful country inn deserves your attention right now.

There will be an exceptional choice of beers, with at least 2 permanent and 3 guest real ales to sample. Popular lagers and sweet drinks, both bottled and draught are also available.

Falcon Inn

Located in the centre of town, The Falcon is very conveniently placed for the shops and other local attractions. And as you will see from the Town Links Page, Wotton is an ideal place to break your journey.

The Falcon Inn offers superb value for money where an excellent pub lunch can be had for under £5 and evening meal for as little as £7.50. An extensive wine list, with prices averaging a mere £10.00, has been created to suit all tastes.

At present there are two main main bars, the Bar and the Lounge. Both are very comfortable, with ample seating. The lounge in particular is a favourite for its live entertainment. In winter or summer, the bars and indeed, the dining rooms, are cosy and easy on the eye.

The dining rooms deserve a special mention in that they are small, intimate nooks which give one a pleasant sense of privacy without losing the atmosphere of the Inn. All dining rooms are non-smoking.

Two bedrooms, both en-suite, are also available. A family room, sleeping four, and a double room which will sleep three.
