PRINKNASH
BIRD AND DEER PARK
.

One can be forgiven for thinking of this beautiful
setting as a gift from Heaven. Gently sloping grounds, liberally sprinkled with wild
birds, tame deer, peacocks and secluded lakes and ponds, make up the 9 acres of Prinknash
Bird & Deer Park. On entering the Park over 50 peacocks and waterfowl welcome you as you stroll towards the Love Bird Aviary and Golden Wood, full of golden Pheasants, leading to the haunted 'Monk's' Fish Pond, teeming with large fish. |
Leaving the wood your attention is
immediately drawn to the lovely two storey Wendy House by the lake. A joy for children who
love to play at being grown-ups, while the grown-ups sit, watching and wishing they could
be children again.
