The Old Crown Inn The Green : Uley : Gloucestershire : GL11 55N |
| Since the summer of
2006, when Mary and Ben Gwyer took over the Old Crown Inn,
its popularity has soared to new heights. As a local village pub or, as
importantly, a much sort after staging post for the weary traveller, the Old
Crown is the cherry on the cake of this beautiful village in the heart of
the Cotswold Hills. The Inn, built over 300 years ago, sits on the edge of the village, a stone's throw from the much younger St Gile's Church which was built around the middle of the 19th century. |

Food at the Old Crown Inn is a simple affair but of a
very high standard. To accompany your meal there is a great choice of real
ales and a good selection of wines by the glass. Lagers, ciders, spirits and liqueurs are also, of course, always available. |
