And there is an added bonus, Carmella's range of coffees has also acquired a huge following in the community, with everything from simple, freshly ground black, to Mocha.

Fridays and Saturdays, Carmella is happy to cater for private party dinners at which the exceptionally good wine list guarantees to enhance any special occasion in the country-farmhouse style dining room.

While the menu is not extensive, it is of a very high standard and changes frequently according to the availability of fresh produce.

Carmella Fletcher has been established in Nailsworth for over 13 years and knows her customers well, and what they want. The emphasis at this cute, and homely restaurant is on friendliness. Carmella is rarely absent and likes to welcome her guests personally and prepares most of the main dishes herself.

The restaurant is not difficult to find, edging George Street opposite the supermarket. The entrance is down the side of this 300 year old building, where, in the summer months, many sit in the small garden to enjoy their meal.
