As a result of this renaissance Tetbury's antiques dealers teamed up in the new year to form an Association of over 60 traders based in this charming Cotswold town. The Association aims to promote Tetbury as an antiques buying centre for both the public and the trade, home and foreign.

Tetbury is very accessible. It's exactly 100 miles - mostly motorway - from Sloane Square in London, so if buyers are seeking a specific piece the sheer variety of antiques shops in Tetbury can save them time hunting from town to town around the country.

Tetbury's tradition of high quality and standard of service, its compact town centre and charming Cotswolds location have all contributed to making it one of the most important centres for antiques in the country, ranking alongside places such as Stowe and Petworth.
