Ideally situated on the A38, (between junctions 13 & 14 on the M5), about half way between Gloucester and Bristol. Open all day during the summer months. Ample parking and toilets and washing facilities. Bar snacks are always available. Lunches and evening meals are served from a full menu.

This is a warm and friendly pub with a rare mixture of locals and travellers often enjoying a pint together. Both holiday makers and the business community find the White Lion a central and convenient meeting place with plenty of place for children to play safely.

The Bar

At the White Lion bar meals are simple and informal but offer an excellent and varied menu off the chalk-board. Take away food is available for the caravan site or for travellers with little time to linger.

Dinner at the White Lion restaurant is a cosy and intimate affair.   The menu at present is off the blackboard which provides a simple but generous selection and is excellent value for money.

The Sunday carvery is a must for the family at a mere £3.75 with a choice of two meats.
