Set in the beautiful Cotswold countryside, the Lammastide inn is owned and operated by Simon Winearls and Pauline Snele. The Inn boasts an extremely cosy bar, seating for fifty in the restaurant and an extensive beer garden. Being a freehouse, Simon and Pauline stock a wide selection of beers, ranging from well-known draught beers to hand-pulled traditional real ales. Greene King IPA and London Pride are always available and there are also two guest ales on tap. Set as it is in the heart of the countryside, the Inn is very popular with walkers and the owners have a display showing all the local pathways
The tastefully furnished bars at the Lammastide are sure to relax you while you enjoy a glass of real traditional ale or a pleasant pre-dinner drink.

At the bar you can choose from the menu and select your wine at leisure.

The Lammastide offers many traditional meals but also several more exciting dishes, such as Grilled Crocodile, Kudu Fillet, Grilled Ostrich and Wild Boar.  As if that were not enough, there is an extensive `Specials' board, allowing the chef to demonstrate some of his most innovative dishes. The Lammastide enjoys a flourishing reputation for serving excellent food.Indeed, their steaks are said to be some of the finest in the area.

Monday is the day for curry with a choice of six at £5.95 - excellent value in anyone's book! On a Sunday afternoon, traditional roast dinners are served. There are always two meats available, one of which is roast beef with Yorkshire pudding. Friday night is the Special Fish Night.

The Lammastide can be found in the hamlet of Brookend near Wanswell, Berkeley, about two miles off the A38 main Gloucester to Bristol road. Friday & Saturday - 12 - 2.00 pm & 7 pm to 9.30 pm
Sunday - No food served after 5 pm.
