Pain and stiffness prevent natural movement and can be limiting to activities at home, work and leisure. If pain is long-standing, treatment can be given to break the chronic pain/stiffness cycle. . SPORTS INJURIES . Most minor injuries heal themselves in time but often small problems, like a torn muscle or sprained ligament, can develop into a chronic problem leading to long term discomfort. . BACK & NECK PROBLEMS . Injury or poor posture can result in mechanical changes causing pain and stiffness. Any recent or chronic back and neck pain usually responds favourably to our treatment. . WHAT WILL IT COST? . Our prices are very competitive. Costs will depend on the treatment. We will be happy to discuss costs with you. Please call for more details. Our Chartered Physiotherapist is recognised by all Medical Insurance companies and the clinic will deal directly with the company. . DO I NEED A DOCTOR'S REFERRAL? . No, you can refer yourself. However, with your consent, we will keep your doctor informed of treatment undertaken. . Click our logo to visit
our website for a full run-down of all our services VISITING A CHIROPRACTOR On your first visit, the Chiropractor will take a thorough case history and carry out a full neurological examination. X-rays may be taken to check for any abnormalities or conditions which would show if referral to another specialist would be more appropriate. Once these examinations are complete, the chiropractor will carry out a detailed analysis of how individual bones, joints and muscles move to identify the specific problem area. Treatment consists of gently releasing the restricted joints with skilful manipulation by hand, known as adjustment. Quick, comfortable adjustments are used in order to restore the proper function and mobility of the joints. . |
